Planet Protector Day

It's Planet Protector day at SK Bukit Damansara ! Once a month students bring recyclable items from home to be sent to the recycler, and funds derived from this will be donated to a charity of choice. 

This is something fun for all schools to do and if you're a parent and keen, be part of the PTA (or PIBG) and initiate something similar.

Collection Point for CFL Bulbs at Kelana Jaya LRT

What do u do when your light bulb life-span expires? Throw into the rubbish bin - NO!

Wrap it in paper and bring to collection boxes like the one in Kelana Jaya LRT station (next to Ticket Counter and insert into the cardboard box provided.

BUT make sure u do not break them in transit as it will release poisonous mercury!  Another reason why it should not be thrown into the rubbish heap...
